3.4 Slicer Operation

1. Close the (#4) index control knob by turning clockwise.
2. Pull back the (#13) product grip using the (#14) product grip handle.
3. Load the product to be sliced into the (#11) carriage tray.
4. Open the (#10) gauge plate to the desired slice thickness using the (#4) index control knob by turning counter

clockwise.

5. Turn the machine on by releasing the (#3) red emergency stop button.

Never reach into the carriage tray with the gauge plate or index knob in the open position!

6. Slice the desired product by pushing and pulling the (#12) carriage handle.
7. When finished, close the (#4) index control knob by turning it clockwise.
8. Power off the machine at the (#3) red emergency stop button.
9. Remove the sliced product from the (#16) receiving side of the (#1) machine base.
10.Remove the remaining unsliced product from the (#11) carriage tray.
11.Clean (See Section 5.2 on page 21) and prepare machine for the next product to be sliced.
