PROTOCOL

This video switcher interface is used for systems with multiple Monitors and multiple Cameras.

The Network Address of the DNA200 is programmed for each Masterstation/DAD104 using a video monitor. This
programming is done in the DXC901, DXC910 or EX500. No configuration is required for the sub stations with
camera in the DXC901/DXC910/EX500.
The monitor address and camera address for each call number is programmed in the DNA200 (see Configura-
tion).

COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL

The device receiving from the DNA200 is setup in the following matter:

The interface is using RS232 with baud rate of 9600 bps (see S

MESSAGE FORMAT

The message format is in the following sequence for output messages from the DNA200:

SWITCH <Camera Address>,<Monitor Address><CR>

PTZRCL<Camera Address>,<Preset Number><CR>

SWITCH .................Switch video input to output
PTZRCL ..................Recal PTC pre-position
Camera Address ......One, two, three or four characters ASCII number
, ..............................Parameter separator
Monitor Address .......One, two, three or four characters ASCII number
Preset Number .........One character ASCII number
<CR> ......................Carrage return

Examples (based on programming exsample at the end of configuration section):
If master station 100(monitor 10) answers a call (on the DAD104) from sub station 105(camera 25) the following
message is sent from the DNA200: SWITCH 25,10<CR>
If master station 101(monitor 11) answers a call (on the DAD104) from sub station 106(camera 26) the following
message is sent from the DNA200: SWITCH 25,11<CR>
If master station 100 disconnects the DNA200 sends: SWITCH 0,10<CR>
