Glossary of Terms
One-Touch Transmission:
By placing the document onto the DOCUMENT holder and pushing the DIRECT CALL button, the
unit will automatically dial the number in the FAX memory location and transmit the document.
JOURNAL: This is a report of the transmissions and receptions.
TX REPORT:
Individual Transmission Report
Each time a document is transmitted, this function will cause a record of the transmission to be
printed.
OGM: Outgoing Message
ICM: Incoming Message
CPC: Calling Party Control
Calling party control enables the unit to detect when a caller hangs up.
Automatic Answer Mode:
When a call is received, the unit will automatically answer, record voice messages and/or received
documents.
AUTO-LOGIC (One-Touch Operation):
At the touch of the PLAY BACK/PAUSE button, the unit will automatically rewind, playback all the
recorded messages and stop. After 7 seconds, the unit will reset itself to the Automatic Answer
Mode.
VOX: Voice Activated Circuit
The caller can leave a message for any length of time for as long as he/she continues to speak.
FLASH: If you connect your unit to PBX, you may access some features of your PBX by using the FLASH
button instead of the hookswitch.
