If the receiving party reports that the received documents were black, or contained black lines, try making
a copy on your unit to verify. If the copy is black or has black lines, the document scanning area is probably
dirty and must be deaned.
To dean the scanning area
0 Remove the Recording Paper Tray.

open the Document Return Guide.

Wipe the scanning area gently with a soft doth
or gauze wet with isopropyl alcohol. Be sure to
use a dean cloth, the scanning area can be
easily scratched.
