You can choose either Memory or Direct Transmission.
Use Memory Transmission if:
• You want to send the same document to multiple stations.
• You have to retrieve the document immediateiy.
Use Direct Transmission if:
• Trie memory is full.
• You want to send the document after talking with the other party.

Transaction Joumai and File Ust The percentage of memory used
is shown on the tower right comer of the display after each page is
stored.
Z if a memory overitow occurs while storing documents into memory, the
machine wi^prompt on the display, whetherto start transmitting those
pages which are successfuOy stored or to cancef the transmission.

If no action is taken within 5 seconds, the madiine will start transmMng

3. An information Code will be dbplayed^the transmbshn has failed or
no answer at the receiving side after the last automatic redial. The
docume/Tf stored tor to/s transmbsion will be erased from the memory
automaticaiiy and the transmbshn is marked VNC“ i7ncomp/e/e; on
the Communicatton Journal (COMM. JOURNAL).
If you need to retsun the incomplete documents even after the last
redial, change Fax Parameter No. 31 (INC. FILB SAVE) to Vaito in
advance, (see page 36)
To retry the incomplete documents, refer to ps^e 81.
4. When a power failure occurs,

The document information stored in memory will be saved foruoto 1 hour, when the battery b fully charged.

The document information stored in memory will be lost A Power Failure Report will be printed
automatically after the power is restored.
The report will not be printed if there were no documents in the memory, (see page 127)
