Precautions to Ensure Safe, Reliable Operation
Precauciones para asegurar un funcionamiento seguro y confiable
1. Do not drop the unit. Protect it from sudden jars or shocks.
No deje caer la unidad. Protéjala contra las sacudidas o golpes bruscos.
2. Do not insert foreign objects into any openings.
No introduzca objetos extraños por ninguna abertura.
3. Do not attempt to disassemble the unit.
No intente desarmar la unidad.
4. Store this unit out of the reach of children.
Guarde esta unidad fuera del alcance de los niños.
5. Do not crush the pressure cuff or the rubber tube. Do not fold or roll them tightly.
No aplaste la banda de presión ni el tubo de goma. No los pliegue ni arrolle con fuerza.
6. Do not wash the main unit and pressure cuff.
No lave la unidad principal ni la banda de presión.
7. If the unit has been stored at temperatures below 0*C (32* F), leave it in a warm
place for about 15 minutes before using it. Otherwise the cuff may not inflate
properly.
Si la unidad ha sido guardada a menos de O' C (32’ F). déjela en un lugar caliente durante
unos 15 minutos antes de usarla. De lo contrario, la banda de presión tal vez no se infle
correctamente.
8. Do not store the unit in places where there is direct sunlight, high humidity or
dust.

9. Do not attach the pressure cuff to any part of the body except the arm. NEVER
wrap the cuff around the neck.
No ponga la banda de presión en ninguna otra parte del cuerpo que no sea el brazo.
