Editing
Assembly Editing
This function can be used to make up an edited tape from
other recordings or video sources.
A new scene can be added to the end of previous one.
Preparations
•Connect a movie camera or another VCR to this VCR as
shown.
•Insert a recorded cassette tape with an intact erasure
prevention tab.
•Select the video source required by pressing INPUT
SELECT to set A1 orA2.
A1: Through the AV1 (AUDIO IN/VIDEO IN) sockets.
A2; Through the AV2 (AUDIO IN/VIDEO IN) sockets on
front panel.
• Set NTSC SELECT.
4.43; When recording NTSC 4.43 signals from an
external signal source.
3.58; When recording NTSC 3.58 signals from an
external signal source.
When dubbing a NTSC tape, keep the NTSC SELECT
on both the recording and playback VCRs at the 4.43 or
3.58 position.
When recording PAL signals from External Signal
Source, the tape is recorded in the PAL system
regardless of position of NTSC SELECT.

from the pause mode to the recording
standby mode.

Note:
The new sound will be recorded on both the normal and
Hi-Fi sound tracks, only monaural sound recording is
possible on the normal sound tracks.
