Cueing up Cuts Silently using Pause

Note that while Instant Replay is paused, pressing a Hot-Key displays the Assigned Cut’s title
and statistics, but the Cut will not play until P

AUSE

or P

LAY

is pressed. Several Hot-Keys can be

pressed in series to see what Cuts are assigned to them, allowing the Hot-Key Assignments to be
reviewed silently. Only the last one pressed will play when Pause is released.

Menu

The M

ENU

button selects one of several different Menus, which appear in rotation when you press the

CROLL

A

RROWS

. When the desired menu is displayed, press E

NTER

to select it. The S

CROLL

A

RROWS

will then select the options available within that Menu. C

ANCEL

will return to the selection

of other Menus.

Once a menu option is selected, pressing E

NTER

will allow you to select a value for that option. The

second line of the display will flash to indicate that the value may be changed. The S

CROLL

A

RROWS

(or in some cases the keyboard) are used to select a value. E

NTER

will confirm the new value, and

C

ANCEL

will restore the previous one.

Pressing M

ENU

a second time will exit to normal operation. See “Machine Setup Menus” on page 22

for a listing of option details.

Cancel

This button is used to end operations, exit menus, or to answer "no" to display prompts. In Playlist
mode, C

ANCEL

deletes the currently selected Step of the Playlist.

Scroll Up/Down Arrows

Used to select Cuts, Banks, Menus, Playlist Steps and adjust parameter values. Cuts can be selected
during playback of other Cuts.

Find

F

IND

searches for a Cut by Index Number or Name. When you press the F

IND

button, any previously

found Cut name or ID number is displayed. To use that name for the current F

IND

simply press

E

NTER

. To use a different Name or Index Number, simply type it and press E

NTER

.

Cuts can be located by entering part of the name followed by the A

STERISK

key (“*”, Hot-Key

number 40). In the event many Cuts exist with almost the same name, they will be found in
alphabetical order with each subsequent use of the F

IND

command. The S

used to examine all similar entries when the S

option is active in the configuration

menu.

Enter

Used to enter Menus, initiate operations, confirm choices, and to answer "yes" to display prompts.

In Playlist mode, pressing E

causes the selected Step to be set as the next Step to play.
