and it is possible to browse through them using the

mouse.

The selection of a session from a previous date does not affect the transmission of data
from the NucleoCounter SCC-100. If the active session is not the session of the day
when data is received from the NucleoCounter SCC-100 then SomaticView detects this
and changes the active session to the session of the day, displaying the most recent
results.

The file list in Figure 18 contains also the actual number of Somatic Cells for the file
(sample) in order to more rapidly establish an overview of the files in the list.

Collected image - Image data field.

When estimating Somatic cell concentration with the NucleoCounter SCC-100, an image
of the stained nuclei in the SP1-Cassette chamber is collected. This image is transferred
to the computer and SomaticView presents it. The image bears resemblance to a starry
sky, where each of the stars is a stained nucleus. Figure 19 shows an example of an
image displayed by SomaticView.

The NucleoCounter SCC-100 records the image of the SP1-Cassette chamber when
counting Somatic cells. The image is then processed in the build-in computer of the
NucleoCounter SCC-100 to give an estimate of the cell concentration, counting every
star or white dot as a nucleus.

By default the newest file (highest "nnn" in the filename) has focus. This will be the

file at the end of the file list.
