Grape T omato Salsa

Makes about 1 cup

cup fresh cilantr

o leaves, loosely packed

small garlic clove, peeled

jalapeño pepper, halved, seeded, cut into ½-inch pieces

green onion, trimmed (include some gr

een),

cut into ½-inch pieces

pint grape tomatoes

1

teaspoon fresh lime juice

teaspoon kosher salt

Place cilantro in the food pr

ocessor work bowl fitted with the

chopping blade. Place cover on bowl and process on Food

Processor

. With the machine running, add garlic through the feed

tube and process until finely chopped, about 5 seconds. Scrape

work bowl. Add jalapeño, onion, tomatoes, lime juice, and salt.

Press the Pulse button and pulse on Food Pr

ocessor until coarsely

chopped, about 8 to 10 times.

Guacamole

ripe, medium avocados, approximately 1 cup of pulp

teaspoons fresh lemon or lime juice

teaspoon ground coriander

Place the garlic in the food processor work bowl fitted with the

chopping blade. Process on Food Pr

ocessor until finely chopped,

about 10 seconds. Add remaining ingr

edients to bowl and pulse on

oximately 1½ minutes, until the mixture is

completely smooth and creamy

Serve immediately or cover the guacamole directly with plastic

wrap to avoid oxidation.
