In Brief
Cruise Control
For vehicles with cruise control, the
buttons are located on the left side
of the steering wheel.
J
: Turns the system on or off.
+RES: Press briefly to make the
vehicle resume to a previously set
speed, or press and hold to
accelerate.
SET−: Press to set the speed and
activate cruise control or press and
hold to decelerate.
[
: Press to disengage cruise
control without erasing the set
speed from memory.

Power Outlets
The accessory power outlets
can be used to plug in electrical
equipment, such as a cell phone
or an MP3 player.
The vehicle may have
two accessory power outlets
located on the instrument panel.
Remove the cover to access and
replace when not in use.
See Power Outlets on page 5‑9.
Performance and
Maintenance
StabiliTrak
®
System
The vehicle may have a traction
control system that limits wheel spin
and the StabiliTrak system that
assists with directional control of the
vehicle in difficult driving conditions.
Both systems turn on automatically
every time the vehicle is started.

To turn off both traction control
and StabiliTrak, press and hold
d
until
d
illuminates and the
appropriate DIC message
displays. See Ride Control
System Messages on page 5‑37.

Press and release the button
again to turn on both systems.
