COMMENTS

■ Waxing external painted metal

surfaces helps provide rust
protection. Do not wax plastic
parts. Wax painted metal surfaces
at least twice a year using
appliance wax (or auto paste wax).

Apply wax with a clean, soft cloth.

Inside walls

(allow freezer

to warm up so

cloth won’t
stick)

■ To help remove odors, you can

wash with a mixture of warm water

and baking soda (2 tbs to 1 qt [26 g

to .95 L] of water).

Door liners

■ Do not use cleaning waxes,

and gaskets

concentrated detergents, bleaches,
or cleaners containing petroleum
on plastic parts.

Plastic parts

■ Do not use paper towels, window

(covers and
panels)

sprays, scouring cleansers or

flammable fluids. These can

scratch or damage material.

Condenser

■ Remove base grille. (See the

coils

“Base Grille” section.)

Use a vacuum with an extended
attachment to clean condenser
coils.

Vacuum coils when dusty or dirty.

Coils may need to be cleaned as
often as every other month.

Replace base grille.

NOTE:

Not all appliance bulbs will fit your refrigerator. Be
