Cycle Signal

The End of Cycle Signal produces an audible sound when the
wash cycle is finished. This signal is helpful when you are

removing items from the washer as soon as it stops. The End of
Cycle Signal is on when option is lit.

Stain Treat/Prewash
■ This option provides enhanced cleaning action for tough

stains. The Heavy Duty cycle automatically includes Stain
Treat. Choosing Stain Treat will add approximately 5 minutes
to a cycle. Stain Treat should be started on a dry load only
and should not be selected after the tub has started filling
with water. Stain Treat may be selected as an option on all
other cycles.

■ When Prewash is selected, the washer fills to the desired

water level. It then alternates between 1 minute of wash
action and a 1-minute pause period three consecutive times
with an extended pause to end the cycle. When Prewash is
complete, the washer advances to the selected wash cycle.
The Prewash option extends your wash time by
approximately 11 minutes.

2nd Rinse/Auto Soak

Press the option button for 2nd Rinse/Auto Soak until your
desired choice is highlighted.

■ 2nd Rinse can be selected to aid in the removal of

detergent or bleach residue from garments. This option
provides an additional rinse with the same water
temperature as the first rinse. This is the default rinse
setting for the Whitest White cycle. Fabric softener will be
dispensed in the 2nd rinse.

Start

Press START to start your washer after a cycle has been

selected. Be sure all desired Modifiers and Options have been

moment, the lid will unlock, lock again, and then the cycle will
continue. This is normal.

START to continue the cycle. Press STOP twice to turn off the

washer. Press STOP once to unlock the lid and add a garment.

fSf

Your new washer may make sounds your old one didn’t. Because
the sounds might be unfamiliar, you may be concerned about
them. These sounds may be normal.

During washing
If you select the Stain Treat option, you will hear a spin/spray
noise at the start of the cycle.

During drain
If water is drained quickly from your washer (depending on your
installation), you may hear air being pulled through the pump
during the end of draining.

During wash and spin

This washer does not have a transmission. The motor provides

direct drive for wash and spin. You will hear sounds that are
different from those of a conventional washer.
