Finding the desired CD by the disc
title or artist's name
You can search for a specific CD using the first letter of the disc title
or name of the artist.
Searching by using the disc title is called "title search", and searching
by using the artist's name is called "artist search".

Input the first letter of the desired disc title
(or artist's name).
For instructions on inputting characters, refer to
"Title Input" on page 30.
Press the TITLE/SEARCH
button.
(The same operation is possible by
pressing the jog dial.)

A different search result is
displayed each time one
of the DISC (- / +) buttons
is pressed.

turning the jog dial.)
• When the desired disc has been found and is displayed, press ►
or ENTER to start playing that disc.
• The title (artist) search mode is canceled if no operation is
performed for 5 seconds.
• The title (artist) search operation can also be performed during
playback.
• When a space has been input before the first letter of the Disc title
or Name of artist, the letter after that space will be detected.
• If the title contains only spaces, the disc is considered to have no
title.

Recherche d'un CD par son titre ou le
nom de l'interprète
Vous pouvez rechercher un disque après avoir tapé la première lettre
du titre ou du nom de l'interprète.
La recherche par titre s'appelle une "recherche par titre", et la recherche
par nom de l'interprète, une "recherche par nom de l'interprète".

Tapez la première lettre du titre (ou du nom
de rinterprète).

Appuyez sur la touche

Un autre résultat de la
recherche est affiché chaque
fois que vous appuyez sur
les touches DISC (-/+).

Lorsque le disque est localisé et son indication affichée, appuyezsur
la touche ►, ou sur la touche ENTER, pour commander sa lecture.
La recherche par titre (ou par nom de l'interprète) s'annule d'elle-
même si vous n'effectuez aucune opération pendant 5 secondes.
La recherche par titre (ou par nom de l'interprète) peut également
être utilisée pendant la lecture.
Si vous tapez une espace avant la première lettre du titre ou du
nom de l'interprète, cette lettre est malgré tout prise en compte.
Si le titre ne contient que des espaces, le disque est considéré
comme n'ayant pas de titre.
