NOTE: Before opening the Bowl Cover Assembly, turn the unit OFF and unplug

S To remove bowi cover, uniook by turning clockwise until cover unlatches, and li off
10 Lift the chopping blade by its base and remove. Unlock the Bowl by turnirsg it clockwise,
(see Assembly on pages 4 and 5), and lift off Empty She processed food

CAUTION:
Make sure controJ knob switch is turned to OFF and unit is
unplugged beiore use. Never use your hend to push food Into processor.
The use of heavy pressure will not speed operation.
1 Lock the Bow! onto the Base as described in Assembly.
2 Slide the disc stem down onto the center post oi Ihe base, then place the slice/shred
discs, with the desired side facing up for either slicing or shredding, onto tha disc stem
and push down, At Ibis point Ihe disc will be at the top of the bowl
WARNING: Sllclng/Shreddlng Discs is vary sharp. Use caution when
handling
3. Lock the Food Posher onto the movable loop by rotating counterclockwise uni tab Is

Lock ihe Bowl Cover Assambly onto the Bowl. Open the Food Chute Lid by pulling out
the slide button, and lift up and out on the loop/lood pusher (see Fig. 3 and 3a), and leave
in the open position
4 - Fill Ihe food chule with pieces of food such as potato, cabbage, green pepper, whole
lomaio, etc., and iock the food chute lid Sea tha Shredding or Slicing Guide for sizes

5 Gloss food Chula lid and latch into place Plug the power cord into electric outlet Biua
Power light and blue OFF light should illuminale to show that the food processor is properly
assembfed and ready to operate
