Digital Audio Out

This option allows selection of the type of processing for the SPDIF (Optical connector) when used with a

Receiver/Amplifier/Home Theater system. Select to choose from OFF, Dolby Digital or PCM.

Note: With DTV input, the optical port will deliver 5.1 surround sound when broadcast. It will not deliver
5.1 surround with any other input selected.

Speakers

Turns the internal speakers On or Off. You may want to turn the internal speakers off when listening to
the audio through your Home Theater System.

Analog Audio Out

This option sets the volume control properties when using the RCA (white and red) connectors as audio

line out to connect a Receiver/Amplifier/Home Theater system. Choose from Fixed or Variable. When set

to Variable, volume from the external speakers will change according to the volume setting on the TV. If it

is set to Fixed, the volume can only be changed by the settings on the external stereo system.

Lip Sync

Lip Sync is designed to adjust the audio of the program being viewed so that it matches the movement of

the lips of someone talking on the screen.

Reset Audio Mode

Return all Audio settings to factory default. A screen will come up to confirm your selection or to cancel it.
Press either ◄ or ► to make the selection, and then press MENU to accept it.

Note: Only settings under the Audio menu will be reset.
