TROUBLESHOOTING

The problems described in this table are commonly encountered operational malfunctions. These types of difficulties
are usually caused by improper hook-up, accidental incorrect control settings, or operator error due to incomplete
programming, and are not caused by a circuit failure. Please review this table, and the appropriate section(s) of this
Instruction Manual, before assuming your transceiver is defective.

1 The power cable is faulty.

1 Inspect the power cable. Confirm

polarities are correct. Red: positive

( + ); Black: negative ( —).

2 The power cable is not connected

securely.

2 Confirm the power connectors are

pressed together and are locked in
place by the locking tab.

3 One or more of the power cable

fuses are open.

3 Look for the cause of the blown

fuse/fuses. After inspecting and
correcting any problems, install new
fuses with the same ratings.

The Display is too dim.

1 The Display Brightness needs

changing.
