Adding and managing views

By default, new projects in StoryMill do not have all views
(which views are included depends on which template you use
to create the new document; see

Document templates

, p. 51).

To manage your views use the buttons at the bottom of the
source list:

The + button adds a new smart view; the gear button also allows
you to add a new smart view, as well as edit an existing smart view,
add a non-smart view, or remove a view.

After you have added a view, use the pop up window to name it and
choose its type. Once you have named your new view, it will
appear in the source list and have the same display as your other
views of the same type.

To rename a view, simply slow double click it in the source list and
type in its new name.

Tip:
Remember that to remove a container view, you
need to use the gear button at the bottom of the
screen.
