Sending Song Memory Playback
Data

You can send song memory playback as MIDI data.
The send channel used depends on the keyboard channel
setting, as shown in the table below.

Whenever adding the keyboard channel number to a value
from 1 to 8 produces a result that is greater than 16, the
send channel used is the one whose number is equal to the
result minus 16.

NOTE

• Pedal effect data recorded to memory is applied to play

back from song memory, and does not affect your
performance on the keyboard. Likewise, pedal
operations on the digital piano are applied to the
keyboard only, and not to play back from the song
memory.

Turning Local Control On and Off

This setting effectively determines whether or not the
keyboard and pedals of the digital piano are connected to
the digital piano’s sound source.

To turn Local Control on and off

While still holding down the SETTING button,
switch Local Control on and off by pressing one of
the keyboard keys illustrated below.

• A note does not sound when you press a keyboard

key while holding down SETTING.

NOTE

• Note that no sound will be produced from the digital

piano’s speakers if you press the keyboard while Local
Control is turned off.

• Local Control is turned on automatically whenever you

turn on the digital piano power.

Guide.
