always make sure the muzzle is pointed in a safe direction! remember to clear
the chamber after the magazine has been removed.
never assume that any gun is unloaded until you have personally checked it, visu-
ally and physically!
after every shooting practice, make a final check to be certain the firearm is
unloaded before leaving the range.

removing cartridges from the
magazine does not prevent

When there is a cartridge in
the chamber, the cartridge
will discharge if the trigger
is pulled. it is absolutely es-
sential for the user to know
how to completely unload the
pistol. “completely” means
emptying the magazine
and removing a chambered
cartridge.
