The 844-R Sprayer Control counts application area and measures the total
volume applied while the master boom switch is in the “ON” position.
The area counter measures treated acres and is dependent on the values
programmed for the # of outlets and the tip spacing.
The volume measure is dependent on the signal from the flow meter.
The lower right of the display window shows:
Volume Sprayed and Area
Covered (alternating every 3
seconds).
To clear the area counter/volume
measure:
Be sure the Delivery switch is in
the “OFF” position
Press and hold the
+
or
keys for 3 seconds.
Note: The area/volume measure can only be cleared with Delivery switch
turned “OFF”.

If the 844-R senses a continuous
discrepancy of 10% or more between
the Target Application Rate and the
Actual Application Rate:
The application rate units flash.
This alerts the operator to a
problem with the applicator,
plumbing, operation or
programming.
