Installer Guide

Installation

Unpack the shipping container. Save the container and packing materials incase they are
needed later. Place the

VisionPro Video Processor on a component shelf and connect as

described in the Rear Panel section. The cooling vents must be clear of obstructions to
provide for convection cooling.

Install the two AAA batteries in the remote control.

The following items should be included:

VisionPro Video Processor

Infrared remote control with 4 AAA batteries

Three RCA-female to BNC-male adaptors

Two S-Video to BNC-male adaptor cables

Two sets of three RCA-male to BNC-male adaptor cables for component inputs

External power supply with power cord

Two 19” rack mount adaptors

Warranty card

Front Panel

The front panel has an LCD status display with backlight, along with power, input select
and aspect ratio select switches, plus an infrared sensor for remote control commands.

The LCD display is illuminated for a short time after infrared commands are received. It
is then darkened to prevent it from being an unwanted light-source. This behavior can be
changed so that the LCD light stays on as a “power-on” indicator by pressing MENU, 0,
9, 2, 5 on the remote and then saving the change, as described in the Installation
Commands
section, to make it permanent to make it permanent.
