Cartridges & CEW Operation
Always treat your X2 CEW as if it were loaded. Also, be aware that it is more difficult to tell whether an X2 CEW
is loaded than it is with previous-generation TASER CEWs.

Point the CEW in a safe direction.

Ensure the safety switch is in the down (SAFE) position and your finger is not on the trigger or ARC switch.

Ensure the protective shipping cover is removed from the Smart cartridge.
