Pulling and releasing the trigger switch will result in an approximately 5-second discharge
unless the safety is shifted to the down (SAFE) position. Unless your ECD is equipped with
the APPM*, pulling and holding the trigger switch for more than 5 seconds will result in a
continuous discharge until the trigger switch is released or the PPM battery is depleted—
whichever happens first.
An energy cycle initiated by the ARC switch will stop as soon as the finger is removed from
the ARC switch.
