6.1.3 Calibration at High Flow For Impingers and Bubblers
Figure 14 shows the arrangement for calibration of impingers and bubblers.
Please refer to the correct flow rate for the impinger / bubbler before
calibrating the flow.
6.2 Calibration at Low Flow
(Gas and Vapour Sampling)
6.2.1 Calibration at Low Flow Using
CPC / Low Flow Adapter
Sampling can be carried out using either an
Apex pump (0.5 - 5.0 l/min) or a Vortex Low
Flow pump (5 - 200 ml/min).
When using an Apex pump for low
flow applications, a Low Flow kit is
necessary. Two kits are available, both with
Low Flow Adapter (P109026) and Constant
Pressure Controller (P109027) as shown in
Figures 15 and 16. One kit includes the
small Tube Holder P109023 while the other
has the large Tube Holder P109024.

Connect the pump to the CPC and
low flow adapter as shown in the
figure. Break both ends off of a
sorbent tube, and place between
the adapter and bubble flowmeter.
