Milk bottles should have a cap on them and be stored on the
bottle shelf that sits in the door.

Garlic, potatoes, onions and bananas should only be
stored in a refrigerator IF they are kept in airtight
containers.

Cool areas: These areas of the fridge are most suitable for
foods such as milk, eggs, yoghurt, fruit juices, hard cheeses,
opened jars and bottles of salad dressings, sauces, jams, butter,
margarine, cooking fats and lard.

Coldest area: This area of the fridge is most suitable for foods
such as raw and uncooked foods, pre-cooked chilled foods such
as ready meals, pre-cooked meats, prepared salads and
desserts.

o

Salad crisper: This is the most humid part of the fridge and is
ideal for all fruits and vegetables.
