3.1 Handling

• This unit is designed for operation in a controlled

electromagnetic environment. This means that
transmitting devices (e.g., cellular phones) should
not be used in the immediate vicinity.

• Magnetic radiation may influence other units with

components susceptible to magnetic fields (for
example, a monitor). We recommend a minimum

• Avoid vibration, impacts to the housing, damage

to the keypad foil (keys, display), and chemical
contamination.

• Ensure that the RCB20-PLUS is regularly inspected.

Regularly check the condition of the mandatory
warning, prohibition and safety labels.

• Take care that the mains supply is adequate to

avoid any impact from other systems being operated
on the same main.

• Do not store the unit in an aggressive atmosphere

(e.g., high humidity, chemical atmosphere, marine
or other corrosive environments).

• Permissible ambient temperature:

maximum 35 °C, minimum 5 °C.

• Permissible relative air humidity: 90%
• The instrument thermostat should be re-calibrated

every year, and after replacement of the
