7.8 Draining the Water Bath

Method 1: Use the external circulation outlet nozzle
to pump out liquid.

Turn off the main unit and refrigeration system.

Locate the two collar nuts on the back of the unit
between the smaller main control unit and the lower
refrigeration unit.

Unscrew the collar nut from the outlet connector
(see rear view photo page 10). Screw in barbed tubing
connector. Place the end of Tygon type tubing over
the barbed fitting.

Secure the tubing with a tie.

Turn pump power on using main power switch.

Allow pump to run until bath is drained.

Method 2: Use the drain hose located on the side
of the unit.

Locate the drain hose on the side of the unit, (Fig 4).

Pull the hose free of the RCB20-PLUS case and
unscrew the end cap, place end near drain.

Turn pump power on using main power switch.

Allow pump to run until bath is drained.

Caution!  Take care when
emptying hot bath fluids.
Store and dispose of used
bath liquid according to
laws for environmental
protection.
