You will be able to open the cover by turning the cover
release latch in a clockwise direction, which will allow
you to lift the cover with the assistance of the struts.
Sunroof
The vehicle may have a power sliding sunroof. To
operate it, the ignition or RAP must be in the ON
position. The switch used to operate the sunroof is
located in the overhead console.
The sunroof has five positions:
• First open stop: To open the sunroof and sunshade,
press the rear of the switch until the sunroof reaches
the first open stop then release the switch. For more
information on using the sunshade, see “Sunshade
Operation” later in this section.
• Second open stop: To open the sunroof further,
press the rear of the switch until the sunroof reaches
the second open stop then release the switch.
