If the file is playing through use of progressive download (as opposed to use of a streaming server) forward
playback might be delayed until that section of the video has arrived.
3.2.3 S EGMENT T EXT
If OCR text extraction was included in the workflow, then for each segment change an attempt is made to
automatically extract text from the segment slide.
The server uses language-specific dictionaries to help in decoding OCR'd material, and there are provisions for
adding custom dictionaries to the database.
The text extracted is added to the search index to assist viewers in finding content related to the keyword search
terms.
