Section 3 Operation
3.1 Introduction
Information in this section consists of functional and operational procedures for the 806 and 807 Audio
Selector Panels.
3.2 General Information
The Model 806 and 807 Audio Selector Panels are each designed to control a separate 700 series Digital
Audio Control Amplifier. They provide microphone audio switching and keying operations for radio
transmitters, receivers and passenger address (PA) amplifier control.
3.3 Controls and Indicators
Many of the controls on the model 806 panel are mirrored on the model 807. All descriptions refer to both
units unless otherwise indicated. For simplicity, the controls will be considered by rows, as shown in
Figure 1 below.
