3.3.4.2 NAV 1 and 2
When the control is pulled out, the relevant receiver will be selected and
when pushed in, it will be deselected. The rotary function of the switch is
used to adjust the volume.
NAV 1 and NAV 2 are pull-push rotary switches used to control their
respective receivers.
3.3.4.3 Transponder Select Switch (ATC) – Model 806 only
The Transponder select switch is a 3-position toggle switch, used to select the
transponder mode.
In position 1, Transponder #1 is active.
In position 2, Transponder #2 is active.
The STBY position selects Standby mode (#1 and #2 off)
3.3.4.4 Display Mode Switch (DISPLAY) – Model 806 only
The Display select switch is a 3-position, centre-off, locking toggle switch that provides
reversionary operation of PFD (Primary Flight Display) and MFD (Multi-Function Display).
MFD selected: Puts MFD in reversionary mode, automatically shuts down PFD and
enables additional PFD parameters.
PFD selected: Puts PFD in reversionary mode, automatically shuts down MFD and
enables additional PFD parameters.
The NORM position allows normal operation of PFD and MFD.
3.3.5 Row 4 Controls
3.3.5.1 BOTH / VOICE / IDENT Switch
The IDENT / VOICE / BOTH Switch is a 3-position locking toggle switch.
In the IDENT position, the ident function is ON.
In the VOICE position, the voice function is ON.
In the BOTH position, both the ident and voice functions are OFF and filtering is turned
OFF.
