Ensure that you follow these instructions when positioning the UPS system and battery options:
 Avoid extremes of temperature and humidity in accordance with the specifications in Section 11 of
this manual. Maximum battery life can be attained with a recommended temperature range of +59°
F (+15°C) to +77° F (+25°C).

Ensure that the equipment is fully protected from dirt and dust which can clog filters and allow arcing,
which will damage the equipment.
 Ensure that the front of the UPS remains clear for safe user operation.
 Space and ventilation requirements must be met (see below).
