When the camera is in focus (the focusing point is illuminated in green), it
is possible to magnify the display by pressing the

button while the

shutter button is pressed halfway. (Whilst the display is enlarged,

is

displayed on the color LCD monitor.) To revert back to the normal display,
press the

button again whilst pressing the shutter button halfway.

FOCUSING POINT SELECTION

The DP2X is equipped with 9 focusing
points and it is possible to select the
desired focusing point.

Press the

button.

Press the

button to select the

desired focusing point, and press the

button to apply it.

FOCUS LOCK

This photographic method is useful if the subject is not positioned
within the selected focusing point.

Position the photographic subject into the selected focusing point, and
focus by pressing the shutter button “half-way”.

When the subject is in focus, the selected focusing point will be
illuminated in green. Press the shutter button to take the picture.
