Playback channel setting for i.LINK input

When the input is set to “i.LINK”, this unit selects the playback channel.
The factory default is “L/R”.

< This only appears when the input is set to “i.LINK”.

L/R

The front left and right channels are output.

C/LFE

The center channel is output from this unit's left channel output
and the subwoofer channel is output from this unit's right channel.

SL/SR

The left surround channel is output from this unit's left channel
output and the right surround channel is output from this unit's
right channel.

< When the source device is playing back a 2-channel source, no

sound will be output from this unit if set to anything other than
“L/R”.

i.LINK remote setting

When multiple D-02 units are directly connected using i.LINK cables
and you use this function, the volume, muting and dimmer of all D-02
units in the chain can be controlled using only one D-02.

The factory default is “OFF”.

OFF

Coordinated functions are not used.

MASTR

Coordinated functions are used, and this unit transmits operations
conducted on this unit to other D-02 units that are set to “SLAVE”.

SLAVE

Coordinated functions are used, and this unit operates in response
to signals transmitted from the D-02 set as the “MASTR”. This unit’s
volume, input, muting and dimmer settings, as well as operation of
its keys, are ignored.

Remote control setting

When used with an Esoteric amplifier, you can set the D-02 not to
respond to the Esoteric remote control.

The factory default is “ENABLE”.

ENABLE

This setting enables the D-02 to be operated by an Esoteric remote
control.

It can be controlled using the remote control included with the
P-02, for example.

DISABLE

This setting disables D-02 operation using an Esoteric remote
control.

When using the unit with an Esoteric amplifier, for example, this
prevents operation of the D-02 when controlling the amplifier by
remote control.

K Only dimmer operations will be received.

Analog output setting

Sets the analog output connectors used.
The factory default is “RCA”.

RCA

Analog audio signals are output from the RCA connectors.

XLR2

Analog audio signals are output from the XLR connectors with #2
HOT.

XLR3

Analog audio signals are output from the XLR connectors with #3
HOT.
