assembly instructions (Fig. a)

The multifunction X Expander can be used with
four or two loops. Hold the black centre piece
with both hands to remove two loops. Place the
thumb of the right hand on the front hook, the
middle finger on the rear hook. Push the hook at
the front to the left whilst pulling the rear hook
to the right. Now using your left hand push the
left front edge of the black centre piece back
and the right top edge forward to separate the
coupling mechanism. To use the multifunction
expander with four loops, always be sure the
centre piece is firmly connected. The coupling
mechanism must latch in with an audible
“CLICKING” sound.

therapist show you how to correctly perform
the exercises prior to the first use.
• Only exercise so long as well, or so long as
being able to perform the exercises correctly.
• Wear comfortable sportswear and trainers.

Exercise 1 (Fig. B)

1. Stand up, placing feet and hands in the X
Expander, and position your feet shoulder
width apart.
2. Hold your hands palms facing up and close
into a fist. Tighten the abdominal muscles.
3. Extend and bend the elbows whilst keeping
the upper arms firmly pressed against the
upper body.

Exercise 2 (Fig. c)

1. Sit upright, placing feet and hands in the X
Expander.
2. Lean back with the upper body so it is at a
45° angle to the floor.
3. Angle your elbows and keep steady
throughout the exercise.
4. Keep the legs stretched and perform scissors
movements. Keep your pelvis steady
throughout the exercise.

Exercise 3 (Fig. d)

1. Lie on your stomach, placing feet and hands
in the X Expander and raise your head and
shoulders off the floor.
2. Extend your arms forward.
3. Bend your arms whilst raising your feet off the
floor.
4. Extend your arms forward again and lower
your legs.
5. Repeat the exercise.

Exercise 4 (Fig. E)

1. This exercise only requires two loops of the
multifunction expander. Remove two loops
(as described in the assembly section).
2. Position yourself on all fours. Position your feet
and hands shoulder width apart. Be sure your
arms and legs are at a 90° angle to your
body.
3. Extend one leg straight back and up.
4. Bend your knee so your foot is pointing up.
5. Return to the starting position and repeat the
exercise.

Exercise 5 (Fig. F)

1. This exercise only requires two loops of the
multifunction expander.
2. Stand upright, feet shoulder width apart.
Loosely hold the expander in front of your
chest using both hands.
3. Extend your arms to the sides. Be sure to keep
the arms at shoulder level.
4. Repeat the exercise.
