Using the Device

On the following pages you will learn how to use the different media and
playback modes. The different playback functions are mostly identical for all
storage media types and are described starting from page 25.

CD Player

The CD tray of your CD-Micro Stereo Hifi System is motor-
driven. Do not push the CD tray with your hand in order to avoid
any damage to the electric motor.

ƒ

Press the On/Standby button (15) on the device front panel or the

On/Standby button (27) on the remote control again to power the Micro
Stereo Hifi system on.

ƒ

Press the CD/iPod button (18) on the device or the iPod/CD button (28) on

the remote control as many times as necessary until the display (3) reads
“CD” to indicate CD mode.

Use these buttons to toggle between CD and iPod mode. In
standby mode, the last selected mode will be stored.
Sometimes it may be necessary to press the button twice.

ƒ

If there is a CD already inserted, it will be read immediately. Otherwise the

display (3) will show "No CD".

ƒ

To insert a CD, press the CD DOOR button (19) on the device or the

OPEN/CLOSE button (40) on the remote control and wait until the CD tray
has fully opened

.

Next, insert the desired CD. Press gently in the centre of

the CD. The CD should click into place.

If you are not sure whether the CD has securely clicked into
place, rotate it slightly. If the disc rotation isn’t elliptical, it is
properly secured.

Damaged CDs or CDs that haven’t been securely clicked into
place may damage the disc drive and must not be used.
