11.2 Where to set up your device

The device must be set up in a location that meets the following requirements:

- In order to minimise the effect of radiation, the baby unit should be set up at least 1 m from the

baby's bed.

- Make sure the power adapter and adapter cable are always out of reach of the baby,

i.e. at least one metre away.

- Never place the baby unit inside the baby’s bed or playpen!
- Never cover the baby monitor (e.g. with a towel, blanket, etc.).
- Power sockets must be easily accessible so that the mains cable can be easily removed

if necessary.

- The device must be set up in a dry place.

11.3 Installing/removing the belt clip

to/from the parents' unit

- To remove the belt clip

from the unit, push the belt clip (B)

upwards, while pulling the belt clip tab away from the
unit (A).

- When re-installing the belt clip

, a click indicates that it

locked into position.

11.4 Power supply

11.4.1 Baby unit battery installation

WARNING

Danger due to incorrect use!
Incorrect use of the device, or using it for purposes for which it was not designed, can lead
to danger.

To reduce power consumption, disconnect the device from the power supply and
remove the batteries when the device is not in use.

The baby unit can be operated using three AAA batteries/rechargeable
batteries or via the power supply provided.

The baby unit has no charger.

WARNING

Remove the batteries if the device is to remain unused for an extended period.

Never use empty and new batteries together.
