16 Warranty
16.1 Warranty period
The devices have a 36-month warranty period. The warranty period begins on the day on which the
new device was acquired. The warranty does not cover ordinary disposable or rechargeable
batteries/battery packs.
Consumables and damages which have insignificant effects on the operation or value of the device are not
covered. The warranty must be proven by presentation of the original or copy of the purchase receipt, on
which the date of purchase and the unit-model are indicated.
16.2 Warranty claim handling
A faulty device must be returned to an authorised customer service centre with the valid proof of purchase.
If the device develops a fault during the warranty period, the customer service centre will resolve any defect
caused by a material or manufacturing fault by repairing or replacing the device or the relevant parts. In the
event of a replacement, the colour and the model may deviate from those of the originally purchased device.
The original purchase date determines the beginning of the warranty period. The guarantee period is not
extended when the device is exchanged or repaired by the responsible customer service centre.
