1. Digital Optical

(Purple on remote control button / Purple led on front panel)

Many TVs and Audio products now have a digital optical output also referred to as Toslink. This can carry multiple audio channels
that are then decoded by whatever the terminal device happens to be. In the case of the Roth NEO 6.2 SoundCore, it is important
that the device outputting the audio information (e.g. your TV, Set-Top Box, etc.) is switched to output audio in 2.0 channel PCM
mode.

2. Digital Co-Axial

(Yellow on remote control button / Yellow led on front panel)

Many TVs and Audio products now have a digital co-ax output. This can also carry multiple audio channels that are then decoded
by whatever the terminal device happens to be. In the case of the Roth NEO 6.2 SoundCore, it is important that the device
outputting the audio information (e.g. your TV, Set-Top Box, etc.) is switched to output audio in 2.0 channel PCM mode.

3. Analogue RCA pair

(White on remote control button / White led on front panel)

This is a standard analogue audio connection that can be found on most audio devices and flat-panel TVs, one connector is
usually black and the other red. Simply match the connector colours to the audio device and then attach to the matching coloured
connectors / input on the Roth NEO 6.2 SoundCore.

4. Analogue 3.5mm (Aux) Stereo

(Green on remote control button / Green led on front panel)

This is a standard analogue audio connection that can be found on most audio devices and flat-panel TVs and consists of a small
silver pin with 2 black rings around it. Simply inset the correct cable to the audio device and then attach to the matching input on
the Roth NEO 6.2 SoundCore.

5. HDMI Inputs

(High-Definition Multimedia Interface)

A compact audio/video interface for transferring uncompressed video data and compressed/uncompressed digital audio data from
a HDMI-compliant device to a compatible digital audio device.

in order for the hDmi inputs to work correctly (with any source

unit) it is also necessary to connect your TV through hDmi Out (ARC). This closes the ‘loop’ for the audio reproduction and if
the TV isn’t connected, the hDmi inputs will not work properly and you will not see either a picture or hear audio.
If your TV
does not have ARC, please use a different audio input such as Optical or Co-Axial instead of using HDMI.

HDMI Input 1, 2, 3 4 (Turquoise on remote control button / Turquoise led on front panel)

6. Subwoofer Output

Use this output to connect an external powered subwoofer if you require additional bass.

7. HDMI with ARC

Use this output to connect the Roth NEO 6.2 SoundCore to your TV.

(see point 5 above). Should you just wish to connect

your TV to the Neo 6.2 SoundCore without any other devices being connected, you can use any of the available input types
providing these are supported by your TV. It may be counter intuitive, but if you choose to use HDMI, please connect the
HDMI output to your TV to the HDMI output( ARC) of the Neo 6.2 SoundCore.
