Readme Files
Before attempting to troubleshoot a problem with your DIVA Mobile, read
the Readme file on the DIVA for Windows 95 setup disk. This will assure
you are kept up to date on all known problems.
DIVA Mobile not detected
After inserting DIVA Mobile into your PC Card slot, Windows 95 does not
detect the adapter.
This could be due to the fact that the Card and Socket Services on your
notebook (which are installed by default with Windows 95) are either not
installed or incorrectly installed. Check the installation of the Card and
Socket Services in the Device Manager:
1 From the Taskbar go to Start, Settings, Control Panel and double-click
System.
2 Select the Device Manager tab.
3 Double-click PCMCIA socket.
4 Select the PCMCIA controller and click Properties.
If the controller is not ready for operation or marked with a yellow
exclamation mark the services are not correctly installed. Check your
Windows 95 installation or ask the supplier of your notebook.
