NOTE: This kit is mandatory when upgrading the 4Gb EVA8000-A or EVA 8100

(LC to SC) NOTE: Before selecting the FC cables to connect between the controllers and the
switches, check to see what kind of connectors are on the switches that will be
connected to the controllers. New switches utilize a Small Form-Factor Profile (SFP)
connector. The SFP connector can support 2Gb I/Os and/or 1Gb I/Os, but the
device connected to it may not currently be enabled for 2Gb. The SFP connector is
also referred to as an LC connector. The older large form factor 1Gb connector is also
referred to as an SC connecter.
NOTE: The 2Gb SFPs on the ports of the EVA4000 HSV100 and EVA6000 HSV200
controllers are a smaller form factor than 1Gb SFPs. One of these cables (either LC to
SC or LC to LC) is required per FC port of each HSV controller.
