IV. Search and Playback
1. Remote Playback
The 68A00-1 stores live video and audio on the internal hard drive. It is possible to
connect to the Video On Demand (VOD) like file server, using the friendly web interface,
with no additional program installation. Users can access the server for playback of
the recorded files whenever and wherever network access is available. Basic
operation is shown in the following figure. Multiple operations can be performed
simultaneously on the multi-functional viewer. This gives you a convenient way of
detecting the moment when the event has occurred.
2. Login
When logging in to the server, you may select either the “68A00-1 Viewer” or the
“68A00-1 Player”. If you select “68A00-1 Viewer”, it logs into 68A00-1 Viewer. If you
select “68A00-1 Player”, it logs you into multi-functional 68A00-1 Player. The 68A00-1
Player allows you to search, playback, and backup files at the same time. Only users
with “VOD” level authorization can access these files. The next chapter will provide
detailed information regarding authorization.
