8. Mount chime. Determine mounting loca-
tion.
• Place chime against wall and verify the
chime is level. Note: See chime base for
correct orientation.
• Use all 4 chime mounting holes as a
template (see Figure 8). Note: 2 mount-
ing holes are located inside battery
compartment. Remove batteries before
mounting.
• Drill 7/32" diameter pilot holes for wall
anchors (provided) and insert anchors.
Note: Always use wall anchors if not
mounting directly into a stud.

• Verify chime is level and tighten screws
securely.
• Install batteries removed previously.
Make sure batteries are oriented prop-
erly (see Figure 4).
• Place chime cover onto chime base
(See step 6 to determine cover mount-
ing type).
