) Landscape mode

Used when taking landscape pictures or photographing remote (night) scenes through win-
dow glass.

The lens is focused for the distant sub-jects. The flash does not fire in this mode.

This mode is automatically cancelled after the exposure. After the picture has been taken,
the flash mode is also automatically set to the

mode.

When taking pictures under low light, use a tripod whenever possible to avoid unsharp pic-
tures resulting from camera shake.

) AF (Auto focus) mode

Used for normal photography.

Compose the picture so that the subject is within the AF frame. (
