Set the Mode dial to “

”.

You can photograph subjects at distances of 50 cm
(1.6 ft.) to infinity. For subjects closer than 50 cm,
use Macro photography (

➡P.42).

To take pictures using the viewfinder (excluding
Macro Photography), To use the LCD monitor to
take photographs, press the “DISP” button to
switch the LCD monitor on (

➡P.29).

SETTING THE DATE AND TIME

Use “

” to select the item you want to

set (year, month, date, hour or minute) and then
use “

)” to correct the setting.

When you have corrected the setting, press
the “MENU/OK” button.

Return to the SET-UP menu.

Press “

)” to select “END”.

Press the “MENU/OK” button to end the setup
procedure.

button to scroll

the numbers up or down continuously.

When the displayed time passes “12:00:00”, the
camera automatically switches between AM and PM.

You cannot specify the time in seconds. To set the
time precisely, press the “MENU/OK” button when
the time reaches 0 (zero) seconds.
