TAKING PICTURES (AUTO MODE)

Photography
Set the Mode dial to “

”.
● ! You can photograph subjects at distances of 50 cm
(1.6 ft.) to infinity. For subjects closer than 50 cm,
use Macro photography (

To take pictures using the viewfinder (excluding
Macro Photography), To use the LCD monitor to
take photographs, press the “DISP” button to
switch the LCD monitor on (

SETTING THE DATE AND TIME

Use “ d ” or “ c ” to select the item you want to
set (year, month, date, hour or minute) and then
use “
a ( )” or “ b ( )” to correct the setting.

When you have corrected the setting, press
the “MENU/OK” button.
Return to the SET-UP menu.

Press “ a ( )” or “ b ( )” to select “END”.

Press the “MENU/OK” button to end the setup
procedure.

! Hold down the “ a( )” or “ b( )” button to scroll
the numbers up or down continuously.

! When the displayed time passes “12:00:00”, the
camera automatically switches between AM and PM.
● ! PAL model : 2000 .01.01.
● ! You cannot specify the time in seconds. To set the
time precisely, press the “MENU/OK” button when
the time reaches 0 (zero) seconds.
