Is the Pad clean? Clean the Pad in accordance
with section “4.3.2
Cleaning the ADF”. Double Feed* occurs
frequency.
Has the Pad worn out? Replace the Pad.
Is the pick roller clean? Clean the pick roller in
accordance with section
“4.3.2 Cleaning the ADF”.
Has the pick roller worn
out? Replace the pick roller.
Document does not feed.
(Document feed stops half
way.)
Is there any foreign matter in
the paper pass? Remove the foreign matter
from the paper pass.
