Connect your receiver to the television. For more information, see the
user’s guides that came with your receiver and television.

Plug the power cord into a wall outlet.
Using S-Video
To connect your DVD player to a receiver using S-Video:

Connect the S-Video jack on the back of your DVD player to the S-Video
jack on your receiver.
Important You need to configure the DVD player for digital audio
output. For more information, see
“Audio Setup” on
page 57 .
You may also need to configure your receiver for digital
audio input. For more information, see the user’s guide that
came with your receiver.
