Connecting to a television

Plug the power cord into a wall outlet.

Select Component as the input for your television. For more information,
see the user’s guide that came with your television.
Using S-Video
To connect your DVD player to a television using S-Video:

Connect the S-Video jack on the back of your DVD player to the S-Video
jack on your television.

Connect the red (R) and white (L) audio jacks on the back of your DVD
player to the R and L audio-in jacks on your television.

Connect the audio jacks on the back of your DVD player to a receiver. For

“Connecting to a receiver” on page 20 .
