Phone book

Telephone numbers and associated names can be stored
in the phone book.
The phone book can contain up to 85 telephone numbers
(maximum of 22 digits) with names (maximum of 16
letters). If you subscribe to a caller ID service the name in
the phone book will be shown for incoming calls.

Create a Phone book entry

To create a phone book entry, press the "Menu" button to
enter the menu. The display will show and announce the
word "Store". Press the "Ok" button to confirm. Using the
keypad, enter the desired number (up to 22 digits - each of
which will be announced if voice function is on). Use either
the "

", "

" or "C" buttons if necessary to cancel any

digit input incorrectly. When the number is correct, press
the "Ok" button to confirm.

Then, enter the name, select the desired letter by pressing
the corresponding key one or more times (see table below
for full details), and each letter will be announced (if the
voice function is on). When the name is correct, press the
"Ok" button to store the new entry in the phone book.

"OK" will then be displayed and announced, followed by
NAME REC displayed and "Name recording" announced.
If you wish the name to be read aloud with its associated
number, you must take the following step:

Press and hold the "Ok" button until a tone is heard.
